1/18/2016 · Hey all, so I have a Lukless mage who Is level 35 and need help regarding gear. Im still using the same gear I started with when I was level 1, even my staff. Im looking around for a Maple Staff atm, but idk what gear I should be looking at because Mage gear requires LUK.
3/24/2007 · Many players choose to be a lukless fire mage because they want to be able to see the lukless damage boost right away, and no style of mage shows off the extra damage like fire mages. Utilizing the 120 Spell Power Fire Arrow, lukless fire mages are going to produce the largest single number damage until I/L mages get thunder spear, if they choose to go that route.
Luckless mages are like normal mages but they do not have luck. This means it cannot have normal mage equips and it looses more exp when dead, and it has less Def. But that’s a very small price to pay for more damage, and therefore faster levelling. It is said that at level 70 or so Luckless and normal even up due to the INT bonus in equips.
1/1/2010 · I got a lukless level 45 blaze mage and i hardly got any good equips . I have searched for guides and most of them are old or dont give enough information. I whant to know what equips i suppose to have and where to get them, if a npc sells them or are they drop?? Currently i have: sauna robe- clean level 11 wooden wand brown bamboo hat some cape i got from a quest in ariant i dont remember.
7/23/2009 · so i just made a lukless mage and its currently lvl 19 i need a list of equipment and scrolls that i need and if possible with the price. i am only lvl 19 but it would be nice if i new what equip i need now and for the next levels at least to level 40 or so. i know their are guides out there but they mostly have lack of info. i need to know where to get them if is not a problem. im not funded …
LUK: Helps you equip higher-lvled mage equipment, as well as provide a reduction of the exp lost on death, plus just a bit of Avoidability. However, it does not determine damage whatsoever. However, post Big Bang Patch it may play a role in determining your magic accuracy, as well as add a bit of damage, so be flexible about it.

A LUKless mage puts 5 AP per level in INT, a LUK mage puts 4 AP in INT and 1 AP in LUK. That means a LUKless mage gets 1 more INT per level, which equals one extra point in Magic Attack. Let’s say…
new formula is 1.2*LUK + INT + Acc. so taking a lvl 33 LUKless mage, it’d have a BASE INT of 169 (or 174 if Job Adv added AP, forgot). this means that it can already hit Monsters Lvl 120 and below. this is not even including equips or LUK at all so including them, you’re going for overkill.
